Day 1 -
Welcome to Vancouver, Canada’s third largest city! Check into your hotel and get settled or head out to explore the jewel of British Columbia on your own. At 6 p.m., gather at the hotel with your Travel Director and fellow travelling companions for a Welcome Reception.
Day 2 -
VANCOUVER - STRAIT OF GEORGIA - VICTORIA (2 NIGHTS)
Be swept away by sparkling Vancouver with its sweeping views of English Bay. Set out for Stanley Park and the towering totem poles and explore the vibrant neighbourhoods of Chinatown and Gastown with their cobbled streets. Travel by ferry to Vancouver Island and Victoria, home to fashionable tearooms and old English charm. Visit a family-owned winery and taste the perfectly balanced vintages, carefully crafted with grapes farmed from over 100 acres and aged in French Oak barrels. Indulge in a Be My Guest lunch featuring local cuisine delicately paired with their delicious wines. Enjoy a private tour of the winery and learn how they have taken a more natural approach to pest control by using raptors to patrol the vineyards. This afternoon, tour the exhibits of cyde and free flight tropical butterflies at the Butterfly Gardens, an indoor world of tropical colour and sights and home to more than 3,000 butterflies. Though the wooden fort in Victoria is long gone, Bastion Square welcomes visitors with lovely architecture and a bustling market. You’ll see the lovely Inner Harbour and the impressive Parliament Buildings.
Day 3 -
VICTORIA SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME
Greet the day with breakfast at Butchart Gardens, a 55-acre preserve of gorgeous floral gardens. Site of an old cement works in the early 20th century, these gardens were transformed by the Butchart family into a world-famous preserve of exotic plants and flowers. Meet with a representative of the gardens who can answer any questions you have, and then spend some time exploring the gardens on your own, strolling the winding pathways, spotting colourful butterflies and taking in their unique natural beauty. Back in Victoria, enjoy the rest of your day on your own. Walk around town, do some shopping or perhaps join an optional whale-watching trip.
Day 4 -
VICTORIA - SEA-TO-SKY-HIGHWAY - WHISTLER
Return to the mainland and board your motorcoach for a drive along the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway, which winds between the glittering waters of Howe Sound and the soaring Coastal Mountains. Feel the spray on your face and listen to the thunder of the water at the 337-metre high (1,105-foot) Shannon Falls near the town of Squamish, once the southern terminal of the Pacific Great Eastern Railway. This afternoon, arrive in Whistler and stretch your legs on a guided walking tour of the village that hosted part of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. This evening, enjoy a progressive Highlight Dinner, savouring your meal over the course of three restaurants in Whistler. Enjoy your appetizer and drinks at the first, your main meal at the second and round the evening off with dessert at a third local eatery.
Day 5 -
WHISTLER - CACHE CREEK - KAMLOOPS
Head east as you cross the Coast Mountains, and travel along remote Duffy Lake Road through some of the most beautiful scenery in Canada. At historic Hat Creek Ranch, chat with costumed interpreters who will introduce you to what life was like in the midst of the great gold rush of the 1860s. Before the gold rush brought prospectors and fortune seekers, the Shuswap people lived in this verdant valley. Visit a local village where you can meet and talk with these native people who still live close to the land.
Day 6 -
KAMLOOPS - CANADIAN ROCKY MOUNTAIN PARKS - BANFF (2 NIGHTS)
Sample the best of Canada’s natural treasures in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks. Travel through Mount Revelstoke National Park, home to old-growth rainforest of alpine meadows rich with wildflowers. Next, enter Glacier National Park and climb over stunning Rogers Pass—keep an eye out for native wildlife such as caribou, mountain goats and grizzly bears. After crossing the Columbia River, you’ll be in Yoho National Park with its towering waterfalls, ice-clad peaks and a natural bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. Surmount the Continental Divide, and enter Banff National Park where you arrive at your quintessential alpine resort.
Day 7 -
BANFF SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME
Immerse yourself in the natural glories of Banff, including the classic viewpoint of Surprise Corner, spectacular Bow Falls and the hoodoo rock formations. Then board the Banff Gondola for a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for a bird’s-eye view of six mountain ranges. Spend the rest of the day as you like; explore the shops along Banff Avenue, or join one of the many optional activities, including a scenic helicopter flight over Mount Assiniboine, a river float trip down the Bow River or a fun-filled dinner show this evening.
Day 8 -
BANFF - LAKE LOUISE - ICEFIELDS PARKWAY - JASPER (2 NIGHTS)
Arrive on the shores of lovely Lake Louise where you’ll learn about the history and geology of the area on a short interpretive walk. Then, soak up the stunning scenery with its azure glacial waters surrounded by deep green forests and jagged snow-covered mountains. Head north amidst a landscape of towering peaks, thundering waterfalls and ancient glaciers, keeping an eye out for elk, black bear and mountain goats. Get ready for a unique adventure at the Columbia Icefield when you board an Ice Explorer on the massive Athabasca Glacier. More action is in store if you’d like to take an optional float trip on the Athabasca River on the way to Jasper National Park. Stay in the heart of the park where you’ll learn about the wildlife that call these stunning mountains home at an interactive, after-dinner presentation by a Local Expert.
Day 9 -
JASPER NATIONAL PARK SIGHTSEEING
Start the day with an optional cruise on Maligne Lake before embarking on an interpretive walk at Maligne Canyon. Learn about the underground river system while following the canyon’s trail past beautiful waterfalls and spectacular rock formations. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like: relish the superb vistas, stroll the quaint streets of Jasper or join an optional guided alpine excursion to Mount Edith Cavell.
Day 10 -
JASPER - MOUNT ROBSON - LAC LE JEUNE
Head west over Yellowhead Pass and arrive at Mount Robson, the Rockies’ tallest peak at 3,959 metres (12,989 feet). Follow the Thompson River as you descend through the Columbia Mountains and arrive at your resort on the shores of Lac Le Jeune. Take a nature walk with an expert to the beaver dam at the end of the lake. This evening, enjoy a festive Farewell Dinner with your travelling companions.
Day 11 -
LAC LE JEUNE - VANCOUVER
Returning to the Pacific coast, arrive back in Vancouver and settle in at your downtown hotel. Bid farewell to your Travel Director and enjoy the rest of the day on your own.
Day 12 -
VANCOUVER - INSIDE PASSAGE CRUISE (7 NIGHTS)
Enjoy your day on your own until you are transferred to Canada Place, where you’ll board Holland America Line’s ms Zuiderdam for your 7-night luxury Glacier Bay Inside Passage cruise.
Day 13 -
SCENIC CRUISING - INSIDE PASSAGE
The Inside Passage winds between the continental shoreline and the great Pacific from Alaska down to the Pacific Northwest. Revel in the scenery as you slowly glide past a maze of bays, glacier-carved fjords and waterways protected from the open sea by rugged, isolated islands.
Day 14 -
SCENIC CRUISING - TRACY ARM & SAWYER GLACIERS - JUNEAU
Famed naturalist John Muir said of Tracy Arm, “no ice-work that I have ever seen surpasses this.” The 42.2-kilometres-long fjord is home to numerous glaciers, calving enormous chunks of ice into the clear waters; countless waterfalls streaming down the lush mountainsides; and a ravishing wilderness you won’t soon forget. Arrive in Juneau, Alaska’s capital, and stroll its picturesque streets, visit a Gold Rush-era saloon or take an optional excursion to Tongass National Forest.
Day 15 -
The Alaskan Gold Rush transformed Skagway from a sleepy hamlet to a riotous boomtown. Step into the town’s colourful past at The Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park with its restored frontier-style storefronts and rustic wooden boardwalks.
Day 16 -
SCENIC CRUISING - GLACIER BAY NATIONAL PARK
No roads lead to the pristine wilderness of Glacier Bay National Park. Grizzly bears roam the seemingly endless spruce forests. Bald eagles soar upon the thermals. From the comfort of your ship, watch this landscape of immense glaciers, towering peaks and icy rivers and imagine what Alaska was like before the first human stepped foot upon the land.
Day 17 -
Scenic, remote Ketchikan clings to the side of a steep hillside overlooking the expanse of the northern Pacific. While ashore, check out the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles, intricately carved with native designs. If you like, consider taking an optional guided tour through town, a harbour cruise or a floatplane flightseeing trip. If you’re craving excitement, opt to do some fishing (Ketchikan calls itself the salmon capital of the world), paddle a kayak through the clear waters or journey into the mountains on a jeep.
Day 18 -
SCENIC CRUISING INSIDE PASSAGE
Today is a day of relaxation as you cruise back to Vancouver through the famed Inside Passage. Take advantage of your ship’s superb facilities or simply relax on deck and watch the unmatched scenery glide by.
Day 19 -
Sail into Vancouver Harbour early this morning. After disembarking, take your complimentary transfer to Vancouver International Airport or to the hotel downtown if you want to extend your stay. Please do not schedule any flights before noon.

Day 2 Toronto–Niagara Falls Excursion–Via Rail The Canadian.
This morning, enjoy an included sightseeing excursion to Niagara Falls with a MAID OF THE MIST cruise. Return to Toronto and join this evening’s optional outing that combines dinner with the spectacular sight of Toronto’s lights from the CN Tower. Afterward, transfer to Union Station for a late evening departure on the CANADIAN, VIA Rail’s premier transcontinental train. Spend the next three days and nights on this classic trip across Canada’s heartland. Your first-class rail cars are refurbished art deco cars from the 1950s. Try the observation dome for views of the Canadian countryside as you roll past Ontario’s landscapes, or pass the time in one of the comfortable lounges. All meals are included, and you won’t want to miss any of them, as the chef offers a tempting array of soups, salads, main courses, and desserts.
Operation of the Maid of the Mist cruise is subject to favorable weather and/or river conditions. When weather is unfavorable, a walking tour through the scenic tunnels will be substituted. Last day of operation for the 2013 season is October 24.
Day 3 Via Rail The Canadian.
Today, watch the scenery as you whisk by the ever changing Canadian landscape and travel the full length of the Canadian National Railway’s breathtaking mainline. Enjoy the many great onboard features, like the lounges and access to the domed skyline car for spectacular viewing. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Via Rail The Canadian–Winnipeg.
Arrive early in Winnipeg, Manitoba’s capital, a city rich in history and culture. In the early afternoon we continue our journey through Manitoba’s prairies and into Saskatchewan. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Via Rail The Canadian–Jasper.
Wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast as you continue on the Canadian into the very heart of the Canadian Rockies. Arrive in Jasper this afternoon. An orientation tour includes Jasper’s unspoiled beauty. Perhaps an optional float trip on the Athabasca River to end the day? The evening is free to enjoy the ambiance of this delightful mountain setting. (BR)
Day 6 Jasper.
Consider an optional trip to Maligne Lake, where you embark on a narrated cruise to much-photographed Spirit Island. On the return journey, stop to view mighty Maligne Canyon. With free time this afternoon, you might take a hike along the trails and watch for wildlife, or stroll the streets of Jasper.
Day 7 Jasper–Columbia Icefield–Lake Louise–Banff National Park.
Board your motorcoach this morning and journey through JASPER NATIONAL PARK, stopping along the way at the COLUMBIA ICEFIELD to experience the Ice Explorer, an all-terrain vehicle that travels on ice that is 1,200 feet (365 meters) thick. Continue down Icefields Parkway to Lake Louise, where cold waters mirror the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Arrive in BANFF NATIONAL PARK for a leisurely 2-night stay. Tonight, try an optional dinner featuring cuisine and entertainment all about Canada.
Day 8 Banff National Park.
This morning, consider an optional helicopter ride high over the Canadian Rockies. Later, join the optional excursion to Sulphur Mountain for a thrilling gondola ride, complete with panoramic views of Banff’s spectacular scenery and a stop at sparkling Bow Falls.
Day 9 Banff National Park–Yoho National Park–Glacier National Park–Kamloops.
This morning, leave Banff National Park and travel over Kicking Horse Pass on the Continental Divide. Travel through YOHO NATIONAL PARK, where pre-Cambrian fossils were discovered, and GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, where recreational mountain climbing was introduced to North America a century ago. Late this afternoon, arrive at the cattle-ranching center of Kamloops, a Shuswap Indian word for “meeting of the waters.”
Day 10 Kamloops–Vancouver.
We continue west along Kamloops Lake and follow the mighty Fraser River to Vancouver, spectacularly set on the Burrard Inlet. Upon arrival in Vancouver, see STANLEY PARK, Gastown, Chinatown, and the harbor on your included city tour.
Day 11 Vancouver.
The trip ends today with guests departing on individual schedules. Transfers are provided to Vancouver International Airport.

Known as the “Windy City,” Chicago is home to America’s tallest building, legends such as Al Capone and his notorious gang, and, of course, countless jazz and blues clubs. Experience this exciting city on a morning sightseeing tour. This afternoon is at leisure. Ride the elevator to the top of the Sears Tower, explore The Magnificent Mile with 460 stores in eight city blocks, or stroll along Navy Pier. Tonight, join an optional Gangster Tour.
Day 3 Chicago–Pontiac–Springfield.
This morning, immerse yourself in Route 66 memorabilia. Visit the ROUTE 66 HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM in Pontiac, housed in a historic fire station. See the large maps that will sketch out your Route 66 adventure for the coming days, and enjoy the nostalgic photos and postcards from the “Mother Road’s” heyday. Outside the museum, enjoy some of the outdoor murals depicting Route 66 themes scattered throughout the town center. On to Springfield and the former home of President Abraham Lincoln. Visit his home and the ABRAHAM LINCOLN PRESIDENTIAL MUSEUM.
Day 4 Springfield–St. Louis.
This morning we cross the mighty Mississippi River and continue to St. Louis, “Gateway to the West.” Your orientation tour includes the towering GATEWAY ARCH. Ride to the top of the 630-foot-tall Arch for a panoramic view of the city and river. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Tonight, why not enjoy some famous St. Louis barbecue?
Day 5 St. Louis–Branson.
Today we travel through the Missouri countryside. Then, on to Branson, one of America’s biggest music centers. Join us this evening for our optional evening and enjoy an award-winning buffet dinner and one of Branson’s top shows. Your Tour Director will have further details. (CB)
Day 6 Branson–Oklahoma City.
This morning, leave the Ozarks and travel through America’s “Bible Belt” into Cowboy Country. After a quick drive through Kansas, enter Oklahoma, once known as Indian Territory. Stopover in Claremore to visit the WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL MUSEUM. Born on a sprawling frontier ranch in Oklahoma, Will Rogers was an Indian, a cowboy, a movie and Broadway star, a writer, a speaker, a comedian, and a world figure. View his collection of saddles, photos, and manuscripts that reflect on his incredible life. Later today, arrive in Oklahoma City. (CB)
Day 7 Oklahoma City–Amarillo.
A city tour this morning includes the NATIONAL COWBOY HALL OF FAME & WESTERN HERITAGE MUSEUM, a national memorial to the American cowboy. See exhibits that include Native Americans, the American cowboy, rodeo, and more. A “must-see” is Prosperity Junction, a recreated Western town. From here, travel to Clinton, Oklahoma, where you’ll visit the OKLAHOMA ROUTE 66 MUSEUM, home to vintage cars, neon signs, a ‘50s diner, and drive-in theater. Continue through the rolling hill country into Texas and on to Amarillo, the state’s oil capital. Get into the Lone Star spirit tonight with our optional dinner of juicy Texas steak, served with heaps of Wild West atmosphere. (CB)
Day 8 Amarillo–Tucumcari–Santa Rosa–Albuquerque.
On the way out of Amarillo, see Cadillac Ranch, a quirky art sculpture consisting of a collection of 10 Cadillacs. Before crossing into New Mexico, reach Adrian, the halfway point on Route 66. Next, stop in Tucumcari to hear the ancient Indian fable of how the city received its name, shop for souvenirs at Tepee Curios, and see the neon signs of the Blue Swallow Motel that has been serving travelers of Route 66 since 1939. Continue along old Route 66 west to Santa Rosa. Look for the signs of the good ol’ days: Comet Drive-In, Silver Moon, Sun and Sand, and the still-grinning faces of Fat Man billboards outside of town. Visit the ROUTE 66 AUTO MUSEUM to see memorabilia and cars of the era. Upon arrival in Albuquerque, an included guided walking tour features Albuquerque’s Old Town, site of the city’s original settlement. Next, visit Central Avenue, where many of the original Route 66 buildings and businesses still stand. (CB)
Day 9 Albuquerque.
This morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast or sunbathe in the New Mexico sunshine. Consider a short walk to Old Town, site of the city’s original settlement. Hone your bargaining skills with the local craftsmen who line the square to sell their lovely silver and turquoise jewelry. Visit the renowned Albuquerque Museum of Art & History that features Southwestern art and 400 years of Albuquerque history. After spending the rest of the day exploring more of this atmospheric city, seize the chance to ride the world’s longest aerial tramway up nearby Sandia Peak Mountain and witness spine-tingling views of the desert floor, forests, and canyons below.
Day 10 Albuquerque–Gallup–Holbrook–Winslow–Flagstaff.
This morning, visit ACOMA SKY CITY, home of the Pueblo Indians, situated on 357-foot-high sandstone rock. It is considered to be the oldest continuously inhabited village in the United States. Learn about this city and its inhabitants, and peruse Acoma pottery and jewelry. Then, cross the Continental Divide and continue to Gallup, which claims a longtime Hollywood connection. From Redskin, filmed in 1929, to the more recent Adventures of Superman, the area has provided unequaled movie scenery. Tonight is in Flagstaff, nestled at the base of the San Francisco Mountains.
Day 11 Flagstaff–Grand Canyon National Park.
Deviate from Route 66 to see one of the Natural Wonders of the World, the GRAND CANYON. Wander along the canyon rim and experience breathtaking views. Perhaps join the optional helicopter “flightseeing” tour. Tonight you stay inside Grand Canyon National Park. (CB)
Day 12 Grand Canyon National Park–Williams–Seligman–Las Vegas.
Return to Route 66 and pass through historic Williams, which is listed in the National Register for Historic Places. Make sure to appreciate the neon signs of the intact circa 1940s “Motel Row.” Later today, visit Seligman, home to the rebirth of Route 66. Detour once again from Route 66 to visit the bright lights and excitement of Las Vegas.
Day 13 Las Vegas.
Enjoy a day at leisure. Relax by the pool or explore the world-renowned Las Vegas Strip. Ride the world’s highest rollercoaster, float through a Venice canal, or see man-eating sharks up close—it’s all possible in Las Vegas. Don’t miss downtown Las Vegas, where you’ll find the Fremont Street Experience, five city blocks enclosed in a glass atrium and filled with dazzling lights, sounds, and action. A variety of optional excursions are available, including a float trip through dramatic Black Canyon on the Colorado River. In the evening, join an optional night out at a dazzling show featuring top Vegas entertainment.
Day 14 Las Vegas–Los Angeles.
Today, depart the man-made phenomenon of Las Vegas and cross the Mojave Desert and the San Bernardino Mountains en route to Los Angeles. Time to stop in Barstow to visit the ROUTE 66 MOTHER ROAD MUSEUM, which displays a collection of historic photographs and artifacts related to Route 66 and the Mojave Desert communities. Continue on to Los Angeles, the “Capital of Glamour.” Join us tonight for an optional farewell dinner celebrating your journey along “America’s Main Street.”
Day 15 Los Angeles.
The trip ends today with guests departing on individual schedules. Transfers to Los Angeles international Airport are included. You can extend your vacation with extra nights and explore Los Angeles further with a variety of exciting optional activities.

Day 02: New York
After breakfast proceed for the city tour of New York
Sightseeing: City Tour of New York.
The sightseeing will include USA’s famous landmark ― Statue of Liberty. We will take a
ferry ride to Liberty Island for a spectacular view of the New York City Skyline. Next we
experience the view of a lifetime from the 102nd floor of the Empire tate Building, Later
in the day we drive through Rockefeller Center, Wall Street, Ground Zero and Central
Park, Times Square, United Nations and Trump. Overnight stay at the Hotel in New York.
Day 03: New York ‐ Washington
After breakfast check‐out of the hotel & fly to Washington.

and a Guide to the Historic Neighborhoods and Monuments. Other
than the federal government, tourism is DC`s biggest industry. The
city attracts almost twenty million visitors each year.
After checking in at the hotel, spend some time at leisure.

Day 05: Washington ‐ Buffalo ‐ USA Side Niagara Fall
After breakfast Fly to Buffalo to view the world famous falls, which forms
one of the natural wonders of the World. We will board the famous boat"Maid of the mist" which takes us close to the thundering falls and around
the American and Horseshoe Falls (seasonal). Return to the hotel to
freshen up after your damp ride and then enjoy dinner at Niagara.

Day06: Buffalo ‐ Orlando
After Breakfast today you will depart to Orlando by flight.
Orlando is the sixth largest city of Florida and is also known to
be its largest inland city. The presence of Disney World theme
park has made this city a well‐known vacation spot. This city is
said to welcome more than 52 million tourists every year.
On arrival at Orlando Airport you will be met & transferred to

After Breakfast, Sightseeing: Walt Disney Magic Kingdom .

Magic Kingdom, where the legend of Mickey Mouse begins. The
magic will bring you the classical vehicles Western Carriage,

Day 08: Orlando ‐ Epcot Center
After breakfast Sightseeing: Full day tour of Epcot center.
Epcot center where you can touch the future and travel the world with an amazing
array of attractions and live performances. This is an area of 260 acres devoted to
past achievements and the future of technology. World showcase offers a kind of
permanent World Fair, with pavilions devoted to eleven countries. Overnight stay
at the Hotel in Orlando.
Day 09: Orlando ‐ Sea World
After breakfast, Sightseeing: The world’s largest Marine Park Sea World.
Here you shall discover many attractions. We dare you to take a one‐of‐a
kind water coaster thrill ride through the mysterious lost city of Atlantis.
Soar through danger on a jet copter ride to the Wild Artic. At Sea World,
touch, feed or get face to face with awesome and amazing wild animals,
and get in on all the action that draws you back again and again!

Day 10: Orlando ‐ San Francisco
After breakfast fly to San Francisco, this is one of the few North
American cities to achieve the legendary status of such places as Paris
or London. The city’s well‐known hills offer stunning views of the
Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, and feature a wide array of
shops, restaurants, and cosmopolitan nightlife. In addition to its
diversity and charm, San Francisco is a gateway to Silicon Valley,
America’s premier high‐technology center. On arrival at San Francisco
Airport you will be met & transferred to the Hotel. Check‐in at the

Day 11: San Francisco
After breakfast, Sightseeing: tour of San Francisco.
Highlights of San Francisco City Tour: You will visit the famous
Golden Gate Bridge, with the world’s highest bridge towers.
Continue on to Twin Peaks, Lombard Street, Cable Car, Pier 39, Nob
Hill, Civic Center, Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf, Palace of Fine

Day 12: San Francisco ‐ Las Vegas
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Las Vegas. Travel from
San Francisco to Las Vegas by flight. On arrival at Las Vegas Airport you will be
met & transferred to the Hotel. Check‐in at the hotel. In the evening, we proceed
for the city tour in Las Vegas.experiencing the spectacular Colorful Dancing
Fountain water fountains of the Bellagio, the Pirate Ships at Treasure Island,
Stratosphere Tower, Downtown Vegas, and of course Fremont street, where over
12 million lights create a free show with pumping music. Overnight at the Hotel in
Day 13: Las Vegas ‐ Grand Canyon (Optional)
After breakfast spend your day at leisure OR take the Grand Canyon Tour Bus
or Air (OPTIONAL). Don’t Forget the New Wonder of the West the Skywalk, In
the evening, take the Las Vegas Night Flight (OPTIONAL), a Helicopter Ride
over dazzling night time Vegas, take in a fabulous Show or visit any of the free
shows such as the Sirens of Treasure Island and much more.
Later evening proceed for dinner. Overnight at the Hotel in Las Vegas.
Day14: Las Vegas ‐ Los Angeles
After breakfast fly to Los Angeles. Arrive at Los Angeles Check‐in
at the hotel. Later, enjoy a City Tour of Los Angeles. We will
drive you through the ―Entertainment capital of the world,
Hollywood, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Grumman
Chinese Theater, Sunset strip, Rodeo Drive for the world’ most
expensive shopping and China town for some good bargains. In
the evening proceed for dinner. Overnight at the Hotel in Los
Day 15: Los Angeles ‐ Universal Studio
After breakfast, Sightseeing: tour of Universal Studios.
This has always been known for its innovative rides and attractions, and
is designed to let visitors experience the movies like never before. A trip
to Universal is like a trip into the heart of Hollywood. With films and TV
shows always in production, one never knows who they might see
wandering the sidewalks of the park. Overnight at the Hotel in Los

After breakfast, spend some time at leisure then proceed to the airport to board a flight for next Destination.

Welcome Arrive New York City & enjoy time at leisure to relax or to do some independent exploring. Your Tour Director is on hand this afternoon to answer any questions.
Day 2 New York City.
On today’s sightseeing tour, see New York City’s major attractions, including Broadway, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, City Hall, Wall Street, and Trinity Church. Your afternoon is free.
Day 3 New York City–Philadelphia–Washington DC Area.
Head south through New Jersey to Philadelphia, the birthplace of the United States. During your free time in Philadelphia you may wish to visit Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed. On to Washington DC.
Day 4 Washington DC Area.
See the graves of American heroes, including those of John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert, in beautiful Arlington National Cemetery. Next, your guided sightseeing tour of the capital continues with photo stops at Capitol Hill and the White House, and visits to the Lincoln, Vietnam, and National WWII Memorials. As the remainder of the day is free, why not visit the Smithsonian museums?
Day 5 Washington DC–Niagara Falls, Canada.
A scenic day as you head north through Pennsylvania Dutch Country, home of the Amish and Mennonite religious sects. Then, along the Susquehanna River to Williamsport, the birthplace of Little League baseball and site of the league’s annual “World Series.” Later, cross the Rainbow Bridge to Canada and arrive at Niagara Falls, Ontario, for your overnight stay.
Day 6 Niagara Falls, Canada–Dearborn Area.
This morning, board the MAID OF THE MIST for amazing close-up views from the base of the falls. Then, travel the Niagara Parkway, admiring the sweeping landscapes of this scenic countryside. Head southwest and cross the farmlands and vineyards of Ontario.
The operation of the Maid of the Mist cruise is subject to favorable weather and/or river conditions. If unfavorable conditions exist, a walking tour of the scenic tunnels will be substituted.
Day 7 Dearborn Area–Chicago.
Begin the day with a visit to the HENRY FORD MUSEUM. Don’t miss the “Automobile in American Life” exhibit. Reach Chicago, America’s third-largest city, in the late afternoon.
Day 8 Chicago.
See all the major landmarks on your morning city tour of the “Windy City.” This afternoon, take an optional cruise on Lake Michigan and through the locks of the Chicago River. As the evening is free, join the optional outing for a delicious dinner at a Chicago restaurant, followed by spectacular views of the city from atop the Sears Tower, one of the world’s tallest buildings.
Day 9 Chicago–Wisconsin Dells–Minneapolis.
Enter Wisconsin with a leisurely break in pretty Wisconsin Dells—a popular spot for photographers. Enjoy an included BOAT TRIP in a unique amphibious vessel. Next, Minnesota—the “Land of 10,000 Lakes.” Drive through St. Paul, Minneapolis’ twin city, before reaching your overnight hotel.
Day 10 Minneapolis. Excursion to Mall of America.
Begin the day with a short city sightseeing tour of the bustling downtown area as well as the many beautiful parks, gardens, and residential neighborhoods. Then, head out to the fabulous MALL OF AMERICA, the largest shopping mall in the United States, featuring more than 400 speciality stores as well as several large retailers. Tonight, an optional dinner cruise aboard a paddlewheeler on the Mississippi River is available.
Day 11 Minneapolis–Pierre.
Into the rich farmlands of South Dakota, homeland of the great Sioux Indian Nation. Stop in Mitchell to see the CORN PALACE, a remarkable Moorish-style building where the interior and exterior are covered with designs of corn outlined with grasses and grain. Then, a scenic drive through the Crow Creek Indian Reservation and along the mighty Missouri River. Overnight in Pierre, the state’s capital.
Day 12 Pierre–Badlands National Park–Mount Rushmore–Keystone.
First, a drive through Fort Pierre National Grassland to see the prairie as it once was when only buffalo and the Sioux Indians occupied the land. Next is BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK, where 37 million years of wind and water have carved out a remarkably colorful sight. Then, head deep into the Black Hills and behold the granite faces of MOUNT RUSHMORE, a giant monument to four American presidents—Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt. (CB)
Day 13 Keystone–Cody.
Head through the rich, mountainous country to Buffalo, where open-range cattle kings made war on the sheep ranchers of the 1880s. Drive past Sheridan, the scene of many fierce battles between the U.S. Cavalry and the Sioux, Cheyenne, and Crow Indians. Then, climb over the Bighorn Mountains en route to the overnight stop in Buffalo Bill’s frontier town of Cody.
Day 14 Cody–Yellowstone National Park.
Through Shoshone National Forest to splendid YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. Follow Grand Loop Road to Artist Point with magnificent views of Yellowstone Canyon and the stupendous Lower Falls, nearly twice the height of Niagara. Next are the geyser basins with bubbling mud paint pots and the reliable “blow” of Old Faithful, Yellowstone’s great geyser. The next two nights we overnight in West Yellowstone, the western gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Located in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, it is home to a large variety of wildlife, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk.
Day 15 Yellowstone National Park.
Yellowstone National Park, the United States’ first national park, is a dramatic contrast of alpine lakes, lush forests, and deep canyons. The park is a unique geothermal and ecological area, and features a wide variety of fauna, including bison, wolves, and grizzly bears. Today we visit more of this fantastic park. (CB)
Day 16 Yellowstone National Park–Grand Teton National Park–Jackson–Salt Lake City.
Head south into the magnificent GRAND TETONS with saw-toothed, 13,500-foot-high ridges crested with snow most of the year. Through “Western” Jackson with its wooden sidewalks and swing-door saloons, and arrive in Salt Lake City in the late afternoon. Magnificently set on the edge of a salt desert and near mountains covered in forests and abundant with lakes, this is the center of the Mormon religion. A brief orientation drive before reaching your hotel. (CB)
Day 17 Salt Lake City–Bryce Canyon National Park–Cedar City.
Through the sagebrush landscape of southern Utah to BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK with its breathtaking sandstone and limestone cliffs and ever-changing colors. Head west through Dixie National Forest and Cedar Breaks National Monument to Cedar City for your overnight.
Day 18 Cedar City–Zion National Park–Grand Canyon National Park.
First stop is ZION NATIONAL PARK, a landscape that was carved out by rushing streams over a period of a million years. Through Kaibab National Forest to the less visited north rim of the GRAND CANYON, where you’ll marvel at the stunning views of the flame-colored walls plunging 4,800 feet into the Colorado River. Day 19 Grand Canyon National Park–Las Vegas.
Head to the unique phenomenon of Las Vegas, where today’s fortune hunters try their luck at the 24-hour gambling tables of the “Strip.” The afternoon is at leisure so you can explore the casinos.
Day 20 Las Vegas.
A free day to explore Las Vegas. Your Tour Director will have suggestions for the best shows to see this evening.
Day 21 Las Vegas–Calico–Los Angeles.
Into California today with a stop at CALICO GHOST TOWN to relive the wild, tough days when miners struck it rich. Through the Mojave Desert and over the San Gabriel Mountains to Los Angeles.
Day 22 Los Angeles.
Start the day with a sightseeing tour of the world’s “Capital of Glamour.” You’ll drive to Hollywood, see the footprints of the stars at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, and famous Hollywood Bowl. Then, on to elegant Beverly Hills followed by a drive down Sunset Strip. Suggestion for this afternoon is an optional excursion to Universal Studios®.
Day 23 Los Angeles.
The trip ends today with guests departing on individual schedules. Transfers to Los Angeles International Airport are included. You can extend your vacation with extra nights and explore Los Angeles further with a variety of exciting optional activities.
